The Radiologic Technologist II performs all radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures at a technical level requiring independent judgment and initiative to apply ionizing radiation for diagnosis. This role assumes responsibility for specific advanced procedures such as angiography, cardiac cath, CT, MRI, or mammography.
Candidates must have either 2 years of diagnostic radiology experience plus competence in one additional modality (CT, MRI, Angio, Cardiac Cath, Ultrasound, or Mammography), or 5 years of diagnostic radiology experience. Required certifications include ARRT, CRT, and current BLS CPR Certification from the American Heart Association.
