The Medical Assistant will screen patients, obtain pertinent information, and assist the physician or advanced practitioner during patient visits according to age-specific needs. This role also involves maintaining exam rooms, supporting the clinic environment, and assisting in all aspects of patient care and communication as instructed.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Training program or equivalent experience. Preferred qualifications include at least one year of clinical experience in a physician's office, emergency room, or hospital setting, along with Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required during orientation.
