The Licensed Practical Nurse performs duties as prescribed by the Oklahoma Nurse Practice Act, contributing to and following through with the patient's plan of care. Responsibilities include safely administering medication, maintaining the work environment, documenting care, assisting with patient procedures, and supporting staff training.
Candidates must have completed a vocational program for Licensed Practical Nurses and possess a current LPN license from Oklahoma or an active Multistate LPN license. Preferred experience includes 1-2 years in a clinical, physician-office, emergency room, or hospital setting, along with required Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
