Physical Therapist Assistant

Key Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans established by the Physical Therapist
• Assist residents with therapeutic exercises, gait training, and functional mobility
• Monitor resident response to treatment and report progress or changes to the Physical Therapist
• Ensure resident safety during therapy sessions and transfers
• Document treatment provided in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
• Educate residents on exercises and safe mobility techniques
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support resident care goals
• Comply with state, federal, and facility policies and procedures
