This role involves managing general office functions, including data entry, handling communications, maintaining records, rooming patients, scheduling, and processing medication authorizations for the Ambulatory Infusion Center. The assistant also participates in direct patient care under RN direction, such as recording vital signs and assisting with patient mobility and comfort.
A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this position; however, no previous experience is mandatory, although prior care partner experience is considered helpful. Essential functions include accurate recording of vital signs and assisting nurses with patient care activities like lifting and positioning.
Functions independently in managing general office function, including data entry, verbal and written communications. Responsible for maintaining reports and records, rooming patients, scheduling, and medication authorizations. Assists with intake information and insurance verification, filling supply and nourishment orders, managing supply inventory and quality assurance for Ambulatory Infusion Center (AIC). Education, License & Cert: High school diploma or equivalent required.
