EIHC is seeking a PRN Pharmacist dedicated to serving the needs of our community. SCHEDULE

PRN Monday through Friday 8 AM to 5

30 PM COMPENSATION $50.00-$90.00 per hour, compensation is based on previous work experience, education, certification, and other relevant factors.

• Essential duties and responsibilites
• Ensure pharmacy operations are managed and performed legally, ethically, and in accordance with the highest professional standards and with organization policy.
• Process incoming new prescriptions, refills, and transfer requests.
• Reviews, interprets and evaluates medication orders to identify, prevent and resolve potential or actual drug-related problems and ensures prescriptions are filled and dispensed accurately.
• Reviews drug histories and patient profiles to ensure proper and safe drug therapy; documents interventions and their outcomes for use in drug therapy quality improvement efforts.
• Provides individualized patient consultation, drug information and education to medical staff and patients.
• Provides direct supervision, training and development of pharmacy staff.
• Collaborate with prescribers and clinical staff to improve health outcomes and safety

• Required qualifications
• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD.
• Current State of Iowa License or ability to obtain one prior to start date.
