Responsibilities

• The Midwest Center is a respected healthcare provider, fully accredited, 74-bed private, residential treatment facility with locations in Valparaiso and Kouts, IN.
• We are dedicated to care of the hearts and minds of our patients with compassion and superior quality behavioral healthcare services through our full-immersion Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) program for children and adolescents ages 10 - 18 who struggle with emotional, behavioral and mental health challenges.

• Website: https://midwest-center.com/ The Residential Therapist carries out the responsibilities of obtaining social history information to familiarize clinical staff and physicians with the patient and any past/present problems.
• Acts as liaison with the patient’s family or support system and referral sources.
• Provides direct psychotherapy to patients in individual, family, and group settings.
• Assists with utilization review with third party payor sources.
