The role involves performing diagnostic, interventional, and/or therapeutic procedures for patients of all ages while ensuring accurate and complete examinations or treatments according to established policies. Responsibilities also include organizing and documenting all aspects of patient care in coordination with radiologists, nursing staff, and other departments to ensure timely procedure performance.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent and be a graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology school. Applicants are required to be registered or registry eligible by the ARRT and licensed by the Texas Department of Health according to regulations.
Performs diagnostic, interventional, and/or therapeutic procedures for patients of all ages in a manner that ensures an accurate and complete examination/treatment by complying with established policies and procedures. Organizes and documents all aspects of assigned patient care in coordination with radiologists, nursing personnel, and other areas of the department to ensure accurate and timely performance of radiology procedures. Participates in performance improvement activities by participating in the collection of data for performance improvement activities to ensure quality is consistent with established standards.
