As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals in your care. Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Provide patient observation and monitoring to ensure safety and well-being.
• Administer medications as prescribed and maintain accurate care plans.
• Support individuals with mobility challenges using equipment like Hoyer lifts when necessary.
• Engage clients in social activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of living spaces to create a welcoming environment.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care tailored to individual needs.
• Uphold confidentiality standards in accordance with HIPAA regulations while documenting patient information.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in caregiving or related fields such as home health, hospice care, or long-term care is preferred.
• Familiarity with first aid and CPR techniques is essential for ensuring client safety.
• Knowledge of Alzheimer’s care, dementia care, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities is highly valued.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and their families.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist clients with mobility challenges as needed.
• A compassionate nature combined with patience and empathy towards those you support.
• Certification in direct support or relevant social work experience is a plus.
