Provide essential assistance to surgical teams through the preparation, performance, and post-operative support of medical procedures. Responsibilities include sterilization, instrument handling, and supporting diagnostic and therapeutic clinical operations.
Requires a high school diploma, graduation from an accredited surgical technologist program, and one year of experience. Must hold BLS certification, NBSTSA or NCCT certification, and registration with the Virginia Board of Medicine.

Ensure the smooth functioning of clinical operations by handling tasks that support the diagnostic, therapeutic, and procedural aspects of patient care. Allied Health - Health Services professionals work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of medical services.
High School Diploma or equivalent. Graduated from a surgical technologist training program accredited by CAHEEP/ABHES OR NCCT Approved program.
One year of experience required.
BLS required. Certified to practice as a Surgical Technologist by NBSTSA (The National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting) or NCCT (The National Center for Competency Testing) required at time of start date. Current Registration with Virginia Board of Medicine required at the time of hire.

May be exposed to cold, radiation, blood/body fluids and infectious disease. The starting base rate for this role is $22.39 hourly. Individual compensation will be determined by the selected candidate's qualifications, previous work experience, and/or education.
