The Pediatric Pharmacy Technician assists in the preparation and dispensing of prescriptions, including counting, packaging, and labeling dosages. They also participate in regulatory documentation and maintain appropriate stock levels.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and a pharmacy technician registration or student-controlled substance registration with the Mississippi State Board of Pharmacy. Completion of a pre-employment drug screen is also required.
