The Occupational Therapist will conduct clinical assessments, evaluate patients' occupational performance, and develop treatment plans. They will also document clinical notes and provide therapeutic interventions to enhance patients' independence.
Candidates must have a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy and a current state license. One year of experience as an Occupational Therapist is preferred, especially in home health settings.
Description Klarus Home Health is seeking a PRN / Per Diem Licensed Occupational Therapist to join our team to providing OT services including assessment, treatment planning, implementation, and evaluation for our patients currently enrolled in our home health program in the Waxahachie, Ennis, TX and surrounding Ellis County areas.

Key Responsibilities: Conduct ongoing clinical assessments, including OASIS assessments, to identify patient/client needs and determine levels of functioning. Evaluate patients’ occupational performance in areas such as self-care, work, leisure, and rest. Assess sensory-motor neuromuscular, psycho-social, and cognitive-perceptual components of occupational behavior. Evaluate physical, social, and cultural components of patients’ occupational environment. Facilitate direct therapeutic interventions to address ROM, strength, coordination, adaptive equipment needs, and environmental modifications. Develop, evaluate, and revise the plan of care in collaboration with patients, representatives, and caregivers. Document clinical notes, phone orders, and other records in a timely manner. Accept clinical assignments consistent with education and competence. Provide physician-ordered services, including patient/client, caregiver, and family counseling and education. Supervise and guide occupational therapy assistants and home health aides as appropriate. Apply infection control and standard precautions to prevent contamination and transmission of disease. Utilize effective interpersonal relations and communication skills to achieve desirable outcomes. Job Qualifications: Education: Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy.
Current State License as an Occupational Therapist, Current driver’s license required.
