Physical Therapists execute individualized programs for patients with acute and chronic conditions to maximize quality of life and functional goals, while maintaining positive relationships with other health professionals. Responsibilities include performing evaluations, determining diagnoses, developing and modifying the plan of care, and recording patient progress.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy and hold a current Virginia Physical Therapy License (PT) from the VDHP. A CPR/BLS certification is also required within 30 days of hire, with one year of Physical Therapy experience being preferred.
