The Certified Nursing Assistant provides direct patient care on a 27-bed medical-surgical unit, focusing on gastrointestinal illnesses and diabetes management, while working under the supervision of a Nursing Supervisor. This role requires utilizing skills outlined by the Department of Human Services Division of Facility Services or NC Board of Nursing.
Candidates must possess a High School diploma or GED and hold current Nursing Assistant Level I certification, or current NAII certification if applying as such. A current American Heart Association BCLS (CPR) certification is also required, along with strong critical thinking and communication skills.
4-Medical is a 27-bed inpatient medical-surgical unit that cares for a diverse patient population, with a focus on gastrointestinal illnesses and diabetes management. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate nursing assistant who is passionate about patient-centered care and eager to join a collaborative healthcare team that includes Registered Nurses (RNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and Nurse Externs.
