The Medical Assistant 2 supports physicians with direct patient care, including taking vitals, assisting with procedures, and preparing specimens. This role also handles significant front desk duties such as scheduling, check-in/out, and managing patient records and communications.
A High School Diploma or GED is required, along with completion of a Medical Assistant program or at least one year of clinical experience. Preferred qualifications include CMA or RMA certification and experience with medical terminology and insurance processes.
