This role involves the autonomous insertion and management of various vascular access devices, including midline and peripherally inserted central catheters (PICC), while also providing specialized patient care and educating staff. The Clinician acts as a clinical expert, contributing to policy development and ensuring safe, effective vascular access practices across the hospital.
Candidates must possess an Associate's Degree in Nursing and hold a Registered Nurse license valid in Florida or a Compact State. A minimum of two years of clinical nursing experience, including IV therapy initiation, is required, along with current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
