Monday - Friday | 8:00 am - 4:00 pm Are you a detail-oriented professional ready to make a meaningful impact in healthcare? We’re looking for a Phlebotomist to join our team and play a critical role in ensuring accurate and professional specimen collection services in Eastern Kentucky. This position requires someone who can travel to the following locations within Eastern Kentucky; Inez, Wheelwright, and Martin. This position requires someone with strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to adapt seamlessly to a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
What You’ll Do
Ensure all patient paperwork is accurately completed and required information is captured during the collection process.
Perform specimen collections including blood and urine with precision and care, following established procedures and client-specific requirements to deliver high-quality service.
Serve as a liaison between patients, clients, and laboratory staff, fostering a professional and respectful environment.
Adhere to all confidentiality, HIPAA, and compliance standards.
Monitor inventory and ensure collection supplies are fully stocked and ready for use.
Maintain accurate client records, updating information as necessary.
Stay current on training and best practices for urine and other specimen collections.
Provide regular updates and collaborate with office staff, laboratory technologists, and managers as needed.
Follow all state and federal laws, regulations, and company policies.
Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by Gravity.

Required Skills and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent.
Phlebotomy Certification required.
Experience in specimen collection including blood and urine or related healthcare services
Experience with Microsoft office
Prior experience in a customer service position
Familiarity with record-keeping and administrative duties is a plus.
Must possess a valid driver's license
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and perform repetitive tasks such as keyboard use for extended periods.
Long periods of sitting, or standing may be required.
Exposure to safety risks, diseases, or infections while collecting biological specimens in various conditions.
