The Physician will provide emergency care ranging from pediatric to adult, performing direct patient care, advanced diagnostics, and life-saving treatment procedures. Responsibilities also include leading the emergency department team, managing mass casualties, and setting clear goals for patient treatment.
Applicants must possess a Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from an accredited school and hold a current, active, full, and unrestricted license as a Physician. Qualification also requires successful completion of accredited residency training in Emergency Medicine, equivalent to at least 4 years of training.
As an (Emergency Medicine) Physician you will: Provide emergency care to individuals ranging from pediatric to adult. Provide direct patient care and performs advanced diagnostic and life-saving treatment procedures. Perform patient assessments and diagnosis using patient history and physical examination and a variety of diagnostic modalities, labs, diagnostic imaging, etc. to formulate a plan of care. Provide treatment and management of both emergent and non-emergent conditions. Collaborate with other members of the medical team. Provide leadership to the emergency department team during a shift and/or during resuscitation procedures. Set clear goals of treatment, provide updates regarding the course of care as necessary, and provide discharge instructions. Clinically managing the ED in times of mass casualties and other disasters/codes. Performs other duties as assigned.

Additional information about transcripts is in this document.Basic Requirement for Physician (Emergency Medicine) Degree: Doctor of Medicine, Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, or equivalent from a school in the United States or Canada. This degree must have been accredited by the Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association; Association of American Medical Colleges; Liaison Committee on Medical Education; Commission on Osteopathic College Accreditation of the American Osteopathic Association, or an accrediting body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education at the time the degree was obtained. A Doctor of Medicine or equivalent degree from a foreign medical school must have provided education and medical knowledge equivalent to accredited schools in the United States. Evidence of equivalency to accredited schools in the United States is demonstrated by permanent certification by the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates, a fifth pathway certificate for Americans who completed premedical education in the United States and graduate education in a foreign country, or successful completion of the U.S. Medical Licensing Examination.
