The Staff Nurse will deliver a mix of office and community-based nursing services as part of a multidisciplinary team, requiring extensive knowledge of nursing requirements for integrated care for the client population.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor of Science in Nursing or an Associate's degree from an accredited nursing program and must be a Registered Nurse licensed in Indiana, with experience in mental health/psychiatric settings being highly preferred.
The Staff Nurse will provide a combination of office and community based nursing services as part of a multidisciplinary team-oriented organization. This position requires a high level of knowledge of nursing requirements for providing integrated care for the population served at Aspire. This includes nursing knowledge of the physical and behavioral health needs of Aspire clients and the ability to work with clients and other team members to coordinate the nursing care needed to meet these needs. This position demands a high level of safety awareness and teaching skills. Knowledge and experience of DSM, crisis & emergency interventions and infection control are needed Education and Experience Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) or an Associates degree from a two (2) year accredited nursing program required Minimum of one (1) year supervised experience in a mental health/psychiatric setting highly preferred Must have the ability to empathize and be compassionate to client needs Must be able to respond appropriately and effectively in crisis situations by using good judgment and following Aspire protocols Licensure Must be recognized as a Registered Nurse (RN) by the State of Indiana Learn more about us at Aspireindiana.org, and see our Core Values, Benefits and Current Job Listings on our Careers page.
