Candidates must be Board Certified in Cardiothoracic Surgery with a primary clinical focus in adult cardiac surgery and must be eligible for Colorado medical licensure. The ideal candidate should possess the necessary experience, clinical judgment, and collaborative mindset to integrate into the existing program and contribute to its continued excellence.

Valley View Hospital is seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgeon with a cardiac focus to join our expanding Heart & Vascular program. This position offers a rare opportunity to deliver advanced, patient-centered cardiac care within an independent health system that prioritizes physician partnership, clinical excellence, and long-term program development.
The incoming surgeon will join a collaborative cardiovascular team committed to providing sophisticated cardiac care close to home for patients across Colorado’s Western Slope. Heart & vascular program
Valley View’s Heart & Vascular program is built on strong multidisciplinary collaboration. The team includes interventional and non-invasive cardiology, vascular surgery, cardiac anesthesia, critical care, hospital medicine, and highly experienced cardiovascular nursing and technologist teams.
