Salary
$50 - $58 / HOUR
The role involves performing laboratory testing on patient and control samples while maintaining a working knowledge of departmental standard operating procedures. This includes proficiency with specialized analytical instrumentation, clinical correlation of results, quality control, and preventative maintenance.
Candidates must have earned a doctoral or bachelor's degree in a relevant science field from an accredited institution. Two years of experience as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist in an acute care setting is preferred, and a current State of California Clinical Laboratory Scientist License is required.
Education/Training/Experience Earned a doctoral or bachelor’s degree in a chemical, physical, biological or clinical laboratory science, or medical technology from an accredited institution. Two years experience as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist in an acute care laboratory preferred. LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS Current State of California Clinical Laboratory Scientist License American College of Clinical Pathologist (ASCP) registration preferred
