The Physical Therapist Assistant provides Physical Therapy treatment to patients under the general supervision of a Physical Therapist, adhering to guidelines from the APTA and WSAPTA. Responsibilities include assisting with treatment plans, interacting with providers and families, and promoting a positive work environment.
Required qualifications include a Physical Therapist Assistant Degree from an APTA-approved program and meeting Physical Therapist Assistant licensure requirements, with a preference for 2 or more years of experience. Proven solid customer service and excellent communication skills are also preferred.
