The role involves providing direct support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities according to service plans, which includes assistance with socialization, health maintenance, and medication administration. Essential functions also cover supporting daily activities such as personal care, housekeeping, recreational activities, transportation, and community integration.
Candidates must be at least 18 years old and preferably possess a high school diploma or equivalent, along with six months of experience in human services. A valid driver's license in good standing, car registration, and vehicle insurance are required if providing transportation.
