The Surgical Assistant will primarily assist the surgeon during consultations and treatments, handling surgical setup, instrument cleaning according to protocols, and supporting airway management for sedated patients. Non-surgical duties include restocking supplies, taking vital signs, performing administrative tasks like scheduling, and ensuring proper office opening and closing procedures.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent along with current CPR/BLS certification and a required Dental X-ray license covering Pano, PA, and CBCT imaging. Essential soft skills include excellent organizational abilities, time management, and the capacity to deliver consistent professionalism and patient care under stress.
