The Oncology Social Worker will provide comprehensive psychosocial and emotional support to members and their care network via virtual channels, conducting assessments to address emotional concerns, financial toxicity, and existential distress. Key duties include crisis intervention, resource linkage, care coordination with the healthcare team, advocacy, and facilitating support groups.
Candidates must possess a Master's degree in Social Work from a CSWE-accredited program and hold a valid, current master’s level license in their practice state, with OSW-C or APHSW-C certification preferred. Preferred experience includes three to five years in a healthcare setting, ideally in oncology, palliative care, or hospice.
Master's degree in Social Work from a school or program accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE). Valid and current master’s level license in current practice state (i.e., LISW, LCSW).
