The Physical Therapist Assistant assists patients in their homes to regain independence by improving mobility, strength, and overall functional abilities. This role requires working collaboratively with the Physical Therapist, patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to achieve established patient-centered care goals.
Candidates must possess an Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program and hold an active PTA license in the state of practice. A minimum of one year of clinical experience as a PTA, current CPR/BLS certification, a valid driver's license, and automobile insurance are also mandatory requirements.
