The Licensed Practical Nurse will administer patient care, including monitoring vital signs and providing wound care. They will also communicate with patients, document health records, and assist with medical procedures.
Candidates must have a practical nursing license in good standing in Oklahoma and a high school diploma or GED. Proficiency in communication and the ability to lift over 50 lbs are also required.
Administer patient care including but not limited to monitoring vital signs, bathing, dressing, and wound care Medication administration Communicate with patients and authorized personnel Document patient history and maintain health records Participate in treatment planning Assist with medical procedures as appropriate per training and license Prepare patients for transfer and discharge Oversee nurse aides and medication aides on staff under your charge QualificationsJob Qualifications: Practical nursing license in good standing in the state of Oklahoma, or compact with Oklahoma High School Diploma or GED Proficiency in written and verbal communications skills Ability to lift greater than 50lbs Ability to bend, twist and squat on a regular basis Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time Basic computer skills including typing, adapting quickly to new software, ability to look at a computer screen for long periods
