The Psychiatrist works within a multi-disciplinary team to provide behavioral health and psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for patients in a correctional setting. This role involves working with patients in a correctional facility to ensure their mental health needs are met.
Candidates must have a medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school and board certification or eligibility in Psychiatry. An active and unrestricted medical license and the ability to obtain DEA registration are also required.
