The Admissions Coordinator is responsible for building professional relationships with referral sources and coordinating the admission process for new residents, ensuring all necessary preparations are made before arrival. This role also involves conducting facility tours, assisting with resident orientation, explaining financial and procedural information to new residents and families, and maintaining accurate records of bed availability and census reports.
Candidates must possess one or more years of experience working in a Skilled Nursing environment and demonstrate knowledge of reimbursement systems like Medicaid, Medicare, and private insurance. Additionally, familiarity with the rules and regulations governing nursing care facilities and the ability to maintain resident confidentiality according to HIPAA guidelines are required.
Status: Part Time
Saturday-Sunday 8AM - 4PM
