This role involves comprehensive front office operations, including registering patients, managing phone lines, scheduling appointments, and directing patient issues to the appropriate personnel for resolution. The coordinator is also responsible for accurately collecting and entering all demographic and insurance data into the computer system.
A High School Graduate or GED is required for this position, although an Associate degree is preferred but not mandatory. Proficiency in using EMR and electronic medical record systems is essential for documenting patient visits and correspondence.
