The therapist will provide clinical behavioral health services, including assessments, diagnosis using DSM 5/ICD 10, treatment planning, and implementing interventions for all age patients within the Primary Care clinic setting. Major duties involve managing an assigned caseload, providing various modalities of psychotherapy, handling crisis interventions, collaborating with primary care providers, and maintaining timely electronic medical records.
Candidates must hold a valid New York State license (LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT) and possess an advanced degree in mental health counseling, social work, or a related field. Preferred qualifications include experience with diverse and vulnerable populations, strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and cultural competency.

Provides clinical behavioral health services to all age patients/families in Apicha Community Health Center. The scope of practice includes but is not limited to psychological assessments, diagnostic assessment, counseling, psychotherapy, brief treatment, behavior modification, crisis intervention and behavioral health consultation.
