The primary purpose of this role is to plan, organize, develop, and direct the facility’s Occupational Therapy Services to maintain the highest degree of quality care according to all applicable standards and regulations. Responsibilities include performing evaluations, completing care plans, establishing goals, and communicating patient progress and treatment plans to relevant staff.
Candidates must be able to perform Occupational Therapy evaluations, create and implement care plans with established goals, and effectively communicate with COTAs, the DOR, therapy staff, and nursing staff. Accurate charting of patient information, therapy notes, treatment times, and labor hours is also required.

Perform Occupational Therapy evaluations, complete care plans, establish goals, and communicate frequently with COTAs who will assist in implementing these care plans and goals. Effectively communicate with the DOR, therapy staff, and nursing staff regarding patient progress, barriers, and treatment plans. Verify patient information and appropriately chart, to include therapy notes, treatment times, and labor hours.
