The role involves performing clinical and administrative tasks as needed within the practice, including completing initial patient clinical assessments and documenting findings in the patient chart. The assistant will also support the provider by filling medications, placing orders, managing in-basket tasks, and returning patient phone calls.
Candidates must have post-high school/medical studies with required certifications as a Medical Assistant (AAMA, AMT, CCMA, or NCMMA). The position is full-time, operating Monday through Friday.
Performs work in the clinical and administrative areas of the practice as needed. Completes initial patient clinical assessment, documenting in the patient chart according to the description below. Assists provider by working within their scope of competency to fill medications, place orders, complete in-basket tasks, return patient phone calls and other duties as assigned.
Post high school/medical studies with certifications as Medical Assistant (AAMA), or Registered Medical Assistant (AMT), Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA), National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMMA) required.
