The Nurse Aide assists with delivering patient care by obtaining vital signs, assisting with feeding, toileting, hygiene, performing EKGs, and ambulating patients. Responsibilities also include scheduling diagnostic procedures, timely answering of call lights, and recognizing significant changes in patient condition.
Candidates must be able to perform routine procedures, maintain patient confidentiality, and demonstrate positive professional communication skills while being flexible and adaptable. Required qualifications include current BLS certification or obtaining it within 30 days, with previous hospital experience being preferred.
