The physician will provide gastroenterology services for adult patients, performing procedures such as colonoscopies and EGDs. They will also conduct physical examinations, develop treatment plans, and communicate with patients about their health concerns.
Candidates must hold a Florida medical license, a DEA, and be board certified or eligible in gastroenterology. These qualifications are essential for the role.
Physician - Gastroenterologist
Location: Delray Beach, Florida
The hiring organization is a rapidly growing, multispecialty physician group practice serving Palm Beach and Broward counties. They pride themselves in being a value-based, care-focused, integrated healthcare delivery system committed to providing comprehensive, high quality care with respect and integrity. They boast a team of more than 100 providers and more than 30 offices, with services that include, but are not limited to, gastroenterology, primary care, cardiology, neurology, hematology/oncology, and laboratory services.
The new physician will join an established team, providing gastroenterology services for a panel of adult patients. The office has a staff of 4 gastroenterologists, 2 nurse practitioners, and 1 physician assistant.
The position is 100% outpatient, with both general and procedural days scheduled.
A variable number of patients per day are seen, based upon provider preference and types of appointments scheduled.
All visits are prepped and supported by dedicated clinical assistants.
The practice utilizes an EHR.
