The Physical Therapist Assistant will be responsible for assisting in evaluating clients' abilities and limitations, and supporting patients through all phases of physical therapy treatment, including exercise instruction and manual therapy. This role also requires observing patients and communicating observations and treatment information with the Physical Therapist and other healthcare team members.
Candidates must possess an Associate’s degree or equivalent from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program and hold an unrestricted Physical Therapist Assistant Licensure to practice in New York State. Required certifications include CPR and first aid, and the company encourages applications from both recent graduates and experienced professionals.
Join a high-performing outpatient orthopedic and concussion management clinic as a Physical Therapist Assistant, working in a setting focused on patient education, self-efficacy, and return-to-function outcomes, led by a DPT and Board-Certified OCS (Dr. Nicholas Munro) with extensive published research, conference presentations, and advanced orthopedic expertise who is committed to hands-on mentorship and evidence-based care. You’ll support a diverse caseload including orthopedics, concussion management, chronic low back pain, and post-operative rehab in a collaborative, growth-focused environment. Associate’s degree or equivalent from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program required Unrestricted Physical Therapist Assistant Licensure to practice in New York State CPR and first aid certification required Recent graduates and experienced Physical Therapist Assistants are encouraged to apply
