The specialist will be responsible for reviewing and processing chart documentation and medical record releases. This role also ensures continuity of care by accurately transmitting consultation notes, test results, and treatment plans to other providers.
Candidates must be knowledgeable in medical terminology and proofreading, with orthopaedic experience being a plus. Electronic Medical Record experience is preferred, but on-the-job training is available for this skill.

Tri-State Orthopaedics, a well-respected and busy orthopaedic practice, due to growth is recruiting a full time Medical Records/EMR Specialist to work in their North Hills Office to assist with quality assurance and reconciliation of electronic chart documentation. RESPONSIBILITIES include reviewing and processing chart documentation and medical record releases as well as ensuring continuity of care by accurately transmitting consultation notes, test results and treatment plans from our specialist office to other providers.
Must be knowledgeable in medical terminology and proofreading; orthopaedic experience is a plus. Electronic Medical Record experience preferred but will train on the job. Individual must possess excellent computer and organizational skills. This full-time Monday through Friday position carries no required evening or weekend hours or call and flexible hours. The opportunity to work partially from home offered after being fully trained.
