The Resident Program Assistant supports the Program Director by leading and executing all Resident Programs in Assisted Living to keep residents engaged, healthy, and active. This involves assisting with planning, developing, and preparing various events, managing transportation, and maintaining program documentation.
include education/training in a health care field or certification as an activity professional, along with experience working with seniors and memory loss, and two years in activity planning. Candidates must possess knowledge of resident social/psychological needs, good time management, problem-solving skills, and a valid driver's license.
The Resident Program Assistant supports the Program Director in leading and executing all Resident Programs in “Sweet Memories” and Assisted Living to ensure the residents remain as engaged, healthy and as active as possible. Supports the Resident Care team to create a safe, holistic, engaged and social environment. The Program Assistant carries out a specific set of tasks to fulfill the standards of Resident Programs as assigned by the Program Director.
• Full-Time, Monday to Friday, rotating weekends and occasional evening hours required.
