The Speech-Language Pathologist will evaluate residents for swallowing or cognitive deficits, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and provide skilled therapy assessments to increase client independence. Responsibilities also include educating residents, caregivers, and professionals, coordinating diagnostic swallowing procedures, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation.
Candidates must possess an active/valid Texas license in Speech-Language Pathology and be in good standing with all regulatory agencies. Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or long-term care setting is preferred, along with current knowledge of treatment practices and the ability to manage diverse patient personalities.
