The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides essential nursing care, including direct patient care, administering medications, performing diagnostic testing like EKGs, and documenting all information in the electronic medical record. This role also involves educating patients, collaborating with providers on care plans, and maintaining a safe clinic environment.
Candidates must have 0-2 years of experience in a clinical or outpatient setting and possess proficiency in direct patient care, EMR systems, and infection control protocols. Required licensure includes an LPN or LVN state license along with current BCLS certification.

Job Summary
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the clinic setting delivers essential nursing care under the supervision of licensed practitioners or Registered Nurses. This role involves providing direct patient care, assisting with medical procedures, administering medications, performing diagnostic testing, and documenting patient information in the electronic medical record. The LPN collaborates with healthcare providers to support patient care plans, educates patients on managing their health, and ensures a safe and sanitized clinic environment. The LPN must demonstrate professionalism, critical thinking, and adherence to all confidentiality and compliance standards, including HIPAA.
Qualifications: 0-2 years experience in a clinical or outpatient setting required
Proficiency in direct patient care, including medication administration and diagnostic testing. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers. Knowledge of electronic medical record systems for accurate and timely documentation. Understanding of infection control protocols and clinic safety standards. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address patient care challenges effectively. Time management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Empathy, compassion, and professionalism in patient interactions. Licenses and Certifications LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - State Licensure required or LVN - Licensed Vocational Nurse required BCLS - Basic Life Support obtained from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association required This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship now or in the future.
