The Physical Therapist will provide outpatient rehabilitation services, primarily for patients with neurological injuries, as part of an interdisciplinary team to increase functional independence and improve quality of life using evidence-based practices. Responsibilities include developing individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients/families, managing caseloads, and adhering to documentation guidelines.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in physical therapy and be licensed by the State of Florida as a Physical Therapist, with a minimum of one year of experience required. Board certification in Neurologic PT is mandatory or commitment to obtain it within two years of hire, and vestibular rehab experience is preferred.
Demonstrate competency in all clinical knowledge and skills specific to the patient population In collaboration with patient and /or family members, develops individualized treatment plans for each patient Collaborate within Interdisciplinarity teams to optimize patient care Manges patient caseload and Documentation to department guidelines Excellent written and verbal communication skills Performs all other duties as assigned
Bachelor’s degree in physical therapy, Licensure by the State of Florida as a Physical Therapist. Minimum 1 years’ experience required Must be Board certified in Neurologic PT or commit to take certification exam within 2 years of hire. Vestibular rehab experience preferred
