The Cardiac Sonographer performs diagnostic Ultrasound evaluations of patients within an outpatient cardiac care setting, obtaining ultrasonic signals from the heart and great arteries using two-dimensional imaging and Doppler documentation. Responsibilities also include managing scheduling, paperwork, computer input for daily patient logs, and assisting cardiologists in procedures like TEES.
Candidates must have a minimum of two years of healthcare experience or graduation from an accredited ultrasound school, or twelve months of full-time clinical echocardiography experience. Required certifications include Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer or Registered Cardiac Sonographer, and Basic Life Support upon hire.

Perform diagnostic Ultrasound evaluation of patients with minimum supervision as part of the Cardiology team in an outpatient cardiac care setting. Obtain ultrasonic signals from the heart and great arteries with two dimensional image and/or Doppler ultrasonic signal documentation. Perform all related scheduling, paperwork and computer work. Maintain daily patient records/logs inputting to computerized system. Assist cardiologists in various procedures (TEES). Willing to accept other responsibilities as given by manager.
Pediatric and echocardiography experience.
