The Radiologic Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures as prescribed by a physician's order, operating equipment like C-arm, portable X-ray, fixed radiology, and CT scanners to produce diagnostic images for disease and injury diagnosis. Responsibilities include ensuring patient safety, accurate positioning, high image quality, and strict adherence to radiation safety standards during all procedures.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED and be a graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, holding current Washington state licensure and A.R.R.T. registration, including Computed Tomography (CT) certification and BLS. A minimum of one year of recent clinical experience is required, unless recent training at KVH was completed.
