This program offers individualized and comprehensive training, including classroom and clinical time, designed to prepare new nurses for a career in the hospital setting. Participants will enhance their skills with support from a designated preceptor and nurse educators focusing on technical, critical thinking, and communication abilities.
Candidates must be recent graduates from an accredited nursing program, holding an Associate's degree (Bachelor's preferred), and must have graduated within the last three months with the Graduate Nurse Letter and Authorization to Test for the NCLEX. BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required, with ACLS, PALS, or NRP being preferred.
