The Dental Assistant will primarily support the clinical needs of the practice's patients and doctors by assisting during various treatment procedures and managing the operatory setup and breakdown. Key duties also include executing patient handoffs, monitoring patient flow, managing infection control through sterilization, and performing specific clinical tasks like taking x-rays and making impressions.
Candidates must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, a commitment to professional development, and the ability to collaborate effectively with the dental team. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with any state-mandated active license, registration, or permit, including necessary x-ray certification.
