The Sterilization Technician is responsible for sterilizing dental instruments, operating the autoclave, and performing routine maintenance on simple dental equipment, including disassembly, cleaning, reassembly, and storage. They will also maintain necessary charts, files, and basic documentation while supporting more senior healthcare personnel.
A High School diploma or equivalent is required, along with up to six months of related experience. Candidates must have the ability to operate basic office equipment and learn to operate various basic dental lab equipment.

In addition, they will maintain charts, files, and basic documentation, and provide support to more senior healthcare personnel.

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the hourly rate for this position is USD $33.152. This rate is based on bargaining unit contracts. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
