Sterilization Technician

Position Summary

The Sterilization Technician will be responsible for sterilizing dental instruments, operating autoclave, and performing routine maintenance on a variety of simple dental equipment (disassemble, clean, reassemble, store). In addition, they will maintain charts, files, and basic documentation, and provide support to more senior healthcare personnel.

Qualifications

Required Education:High School diploma or equivalent.Preferred Education:N/ARequired Experience:Up to 6 months of related experience.Preferred Experience:N/ARequired Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST). Ability to operate basic office equipment. Ability to learn how to operate a variety of basic dental lab equipment.Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:N/A

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the hourly rate for this position is USD $33.152. This rate is based on bargaining unit contracts. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
