The Licensed Practical Nurse plans, implements, directs, and evaluates patient care using the Nursing Process to achieve optimal outcomes, working collaboratively with other disciplines. Responsibilities include providing patient care based on scientific principles, accurately implementing physician orders, and recognizing and intervening appropriately when a patient's condition changes.
Candidates must possess a valid LPN nursing license and a valid CPR certification from the American Heart Association. Prior experience with wound care patients is preferred, although training will be provided, and experience with billing and coding is also preferred.
