The specialist implements and evaluates therapeutic programs for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities while providing direct care services, including assistance with daily living activities and health needs. Responsibilities also involve liaising with coordinators and family, completing required documentation, and serving as a positive role model.
Candidates must possess knowledge of therapeutic techniques for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and be able to assess and evaluate program effectiveness. A minimum of six months of any type of work experience is required, along with the ability to exercise independent judgment and communicate effectively.
Work Schedule: Sat/Sun from 11:00am to 11:00pm (24 hours weekly)
