The specialist performs diagnostic imaging and related procedures for cardiovascular interventions, delivering appropriate care by assessing patient conditions and ensuring procedure success. Responsibilities also include providing physiological and hemodynamic monitoring, supporting the physician as a scrub assistant, and maintaining technical quality of images.
Candidates must meet specific education criteria, such as holding an accredited certification like RCIS, RCES, RRT, CRT, R.T.(R), or NREMT-P, along with maintaining current BLS and ACLS certifications. A minimum of one year of experience in a Cardiac Catheterization lab is required, and the candidate must be able to fulfill all duties of an Invasive Specialist I.
Performs diagnostic imaging and related procedures to demonstrate anatomy for interpretation and/or intervention for cardiovascular procedures
Experience One (1) year experience in Cardiac Catheterization lab is required. Able to meet all job duties of Invasive Specialist I. Must meet unit specific performance competencies
