The role involves facilitating and coordinating care by providing evidence-based care according to Johns Hopkins Health System protocols and directing/managing team members to promote quality and safety. Responsibilities also include participating in and implementing improvement initiatives within the specialty area to foster an environment of service excellence.
Candidates must be a pediatric-trained nurse with required qualifications including an RN License, BLS, PALS, EPIC proficiency, and a minimum of two years of PEDs experience in MED SURG, IMC, or PICU. An APHON chemo/biotherapy provider course/certificate is also mandatory.
Facilitating and coordinating care by providing evidence-based care based on the nursing process, policies, procedures, and protocols of the Johns Hopkins Health System. Providing direction to/management of other team members to promote quality, safety, and excellence in care. Working collaboratively with, and providing leadership for, a multidisciplinary health care team to support program initiatives that support quality, safety, and excellence in care. Participating in promoting improvement initiatives (clinical, financial, operational) that supports, protects and promotes area of specialty. Implementing initiatives in area of specialty as directed by nursing and medical leadership. Fostering a clinical environment of service excellence.
